Christ Church is committed to the safeguarding, care and nurture of all of members with special attention given to protecting young people and vulnerable adults.
Safeguarding is a core part of our responsibility and we implement the policies specified by the Church of England Diocese in Europe and supplemented by those at Christ Church (see links below).
As these policies specify, we require background checks and training for all those in roles with responsibilities involving young people or vulnerable adults. These roles include the Chaplain, Safeguarding Officers, Churchwardens, pastoral care givers, and Sunday Club teachers. We implement other safety measures such as requiring at least two adults be present when young people or vulnerable adults are involved.
